This is a further collection of memories from North Devon and West Somerset, the second in the Lost Exmoor series. Passed on before the last person who remembers is no longer with us.

Many of the topics were gathered from living memory, but others from further back in time, discovered in attics, the archives of the record office, unpublished leaflets or journals, out-of-print books, or long-ago written articles. Others lay hidden in newspaper cuttings, or old photographs. All on the verge of being forgotten.

This then, is another history of the commonplace, of the everyday, and offered in celebration of a lost Exmoor.
